1,000 Dollars earned at our One Year Anniversary Bake Sale!

The Night before, with all the stuff (mostly boxed) that was brought the day before.
The beginning of the sale, before anything was sold.
The middle of the Table. Brownies, mini pies, & little breads!
The far end of the table. 4 loaves of delicious Challah bread I made!
And all of it at once, with myself and a friend who stopped in to help. She was there with me most of the day!
A slogan we came up with. Our marketing strategy had to get better, because there were Girl Scouts selling cookies there as well. They accidentally double booked at the store.
Scotcheroos and Neapolation Cupcakes, all individually packaged. They sold great!
Things were pretty slow for a while, but it was booming at the Girl Scout Table. So we tried a different technique. We used pictures of  exactly where our money would go.
Our quickly assembled poster, which a wonderful friend graciously purchased a board for, then went home and printed pictures!
The Girls Scouts left around 3 o'clock. Not only did more people start coming, but we had a monopoly!
We even sold some sourdough starter!
 Things started getting slow again.
So I made a chart box with a shoe box and plastic wrap.
I filled it in as we earned more and more.
Then we got that wonderful surprise! THANK YOU, ANONYMOUS DONOR!!!

My sister, another friend of mine, and the sweet gal who stayed with me most of the day.
Around 3:30, this was all we had left! Something had to be done....

In less than an hour, and a few phone calls later, we had this!!
Then within 2 hours of the phone calls, I had these brought in too! Our table was completely restocked! 5 wonderful families dropped what they were doing, and with no more than 5 minutes notice, started baking! Can you see the Hand of God?
Almost there! This was at 5:34 p.m.
We were getting closer to the goal line!

We did it!!!!! At 7:59 p.m. we made the last sale before we hit 1,000 dollars! It was 1/2 dozen cookies, that I was so excited to hit 1,000, I sold for 25 cents! A good deal for Operation Table Scraps and for her! The only sad part was my dear friend and co-operator, Willow, was out of state, and could not attend. But I took lots of pictures for her! :)
